Welcome to our holiday series: Gift Ideas to Help Entrepreneurs with Marketing! Over the next few weeks, we’ll share smart, practical, and sometimes funny ideas to help business owners market better and stress less. Whether you’re shopping for an entrepreneur or you are that entrepreneur, we’ve got you covered—from tech must-haves to motivational goodies.

We’re kicking things off with what every small business owner loves: cool tools and tech that make marketing easier, faster, and a little more fun.

Canva Pro

Let’s be honest: not everyone has a graphic designer on speed dial. Canva Pro makes creating beautiful marketing materials—social posts, flyers, presentations—easy, just the way we like it. Plus, its templates save hours, and the brand kit keeps everything looking consistent.

Whether the entrepreneur you know doesn't know about Canva yet (gasp!) or is hesitant to spend the money to upgrade to Pro, this is a gift that will keep on giving all year long and help them elevate their branding game.

Google Workspace

A professional email, file storage, and shared calendars in one? Yes, please. Google Workspace helps entrepreneurs look legitimate and stay organized without the “where did I save that?” panic.

What we love about Google Workspace is that it keeps it simple. Google grew into the mega company it is now by making sure its core products were easy to use, even by those who aren't tech savvy. Also, because everyone knows Google, your favorite entrepreneur can find a million (slight exaggeration) YouTube videos to answer any questions that may come up.

Bonus! All Google Workspace plans come with Gemini AI assistant in Gmail and Google Vids an AI-powered video creator and editor.

Ring Light & Tripod

Lighting matters—especially on video calls, webinars, or Reels. A ring light and tripod combo instantly upgrades your visuals and makes even the sleep-deprived business owner look camera-ready.

Has your entrepreneur been hesitant to make the leap to video? This gift idea not only gives then a nudge but shows you have confidence in them.

Blue Yeti Microphone

For podcasts, voiceovers, or webinars, clear audio can make or break the message. The Blue Yeti delivers broadcast-quality sound without the studio price tag.

Portable Backdrop Kit

When your office is also your kitchen table (or the kids' playroom or their office/guest room), a backdrop kit is a lifesaver. It hides the chaos and creates a clean, professional look for every call or video.

We've all used them. The built in backgrounds for video calls. And while they're better than what's actually behind us, they aren't exactly good. A portable backdrop kit is one of those things your favorite entrepreneur is unlikely to think of for themselves. Which means they'll be extra excited when they open it.

Bonus Note: These are great gifts for anyone who works remotely, not just your favorite entrepreneurs.

Wireless Lavalier Mic

Short-form video is everywhere, and a lav mic ensures your sound is crisp and professional, even when recording on your phone.

While we love the Blue Yeti mics, sometimes we entrepreneurs need to be more mobile and a lav mic is an excellent gift for those who are on the move and need great sound wherever they happen to be.

External Hard Drive or Cloud Storage Gift Card/Subscription

Marketing files add up—photos, videos, design drafts. A reliable backup means no more lost campaigns or corrupted projects.

When an entrepreneur, especially a new small business owner or solopreneur, gets that alert. You know the one: "Storage Almost Full" or "Storage Low". It incites a little fear, a little confusion, and a lot of WTF! What to do next? Do you delete files, taking the time to look at everything you've ever created to see if you really NEED it? Do you spend the money on more storage? Where do you even start? Help a brother (sister, mother, cousin, uncle, or best friend twice removed) out. Get them storage for their business.

Whether it's a physical external hard drive or cloud storage, extra storage is something any entrepreneur who creates content is going to need at some point.

Bonus Note: Physical external Hard drives are recommended for those who are a little old school and don't completely trust that the interwebs won't lose or delete their stuff. (No shade, I have my own and just bought 2 thumb drives to back up the contents of my phone.) The upfront cost may be higher but you buy it once and it's yours. Cloud storage is more accessible, allows for greater collaboration and utilization of your content, and less expensive initially, but it is typically a subscription and the cost does eventually adds up. Choose wisely.

Bonus Bonus Note: Google Workspace plans come with additional storage. Combo Gift!

These tools make the entrepreneur life easier, more creative, and a lot less stressful. You're welcome!

Next week, we’ll focus on growth with Learning & Branding Goodies: Gift Ideas to Help Entrepreneurs with Marketing—because great tools are only as good as the skills and strategy behind them.
